Week 18 Newsletter

Hey it’s Connor and this is going to be my last blog post of 2012.  This week we took our english tests, reading tests, graded tests, made our movies which I will put at the end of my post, we did elf yourself, watched the movie Elf in our holiday party, had a holiday party, had Larry Campbell and his wife sing during our holiday party, had PJ/electronics day, had our annual spelling bee, had the new KRHS morning news team start, and the world has not ended yet.

 To help kick off the holiday season, the students wrote holiday cards to their penpals in Sierra Leone, France, Philippines, and Bulgaria. I got a very interesting look from the post office worker when I drop these off.

 
What a way to spend a Sunday. The students got to give a little back to the community. With a little hard work, the students raised 250 dollars selling CDs. We were able to buy 4 boxes of gloves, scarves, and hats for people in our community. After we delivered the gifts, we got to watch one of our classmates, Dasha, act in the Naivety Pageant. 

The students created and wrote their own songs for our penpals in Sierra Leone. Take a listen.
