What an intense week we had competing in World Math and Spelling Day! With over 5.3 million players, the students challenged students from every part of the world. I can remember one match where a student was going head to head with kids from Australia, Qatar, and China. Technology has certainly knocked down the walls of the classroom. In World Math Day, the students crushed last year’s record but barely missed out on making the top 100 board. The students answered 62,007 math questions with Camden and Sydney ranking as 1 and 2. In World Spelling Day, the students finished in 28th place and 5th out of American schools!! They finished with 41, 745 correct spelling questions with Camden and Sydney ranking 1 and 2.
