Mr. Haney's Rocking Rams Keeping up with the students in B124! 

I can’t believe it has been a year since I found out about winning ORAU’s Classroom Makeover. I could not be more excited for Mr. Sutton and Green Magnet. (Click here for his video and article)  I know his mind must be racing about how to use the money. Last year, Mrs. Alvey’s class gave comments about their favorite technology and I used that list as a starting point. Below is my students’ vote on their favorite technology of the year.

Live from New York it’s the Word Girl Vocabulary Competition! The students took part in a live webcast from Scholastic’s Word Girl. The students competed with other students from all around the country. The competition is intended to inspire students to read this summer. My students enjoyed the game show even though our class was not drawn for a prize.

The students got to look at their future school on Wednesday. Each year the students get to tour BMS and get a chance to meet teachers, peek at classrooms, and learn about clubs. Going on the tours is one of my favorite times because I get to see my old students. It always makes my day when I see how well they are doing.
