Last night, the students put on a haunted house to raise money for our pen pals in Sierra Leone. It was a huge success, and we were able to raise over $600! Inside the haunted house, we had a skeleton, werewolf, zombie eating someone’s brain, witches, a wall of eyes, and a lot of other spooky stuff. The students ran the whole show from collecting the money to scaring the visitors. Scream for Sierra Leone was a huge hit, and I was one proud teacher last night!
To help get the school excited about it, my students made a commercial which aired on our TV news. Take a look but beware….
